As Bees in Honey Drown

Eric has been very busy, rehearsing for this show which opens the first weekend of October at the Penn Avenue Theatre in Bloomfield. We have also been lending a helping hand with the rennovations to the theatre. The theatre will have its "grand re-opening" celebration on opening night of "Bees."

New Wheels!

We finally purchased a new car! Our Acclaim had over 170,000 miles on it, and served us well for many years. The car-buying process was new to us, but thanks to a lot of great advice from friends and the internet (how did people buy cars before the internet?) we got a good deal on a 2000 Mazda Protoge ES. It even has a CD player, moonroof and rear spoiler.

The Living Embodiment of George Washington!

Eric has started a job with the Heinz Regional History Center, portraying a young George Washington as part of an exhibit about Washington's life. He also got the opportunity to participate in a colonial reinactment: look for pictures here soon!

Weddings Galore!

Eric's father, Walter, and Gina Hastwell announced their engagement this summer. A date has not yet been set, but we are very happy for them!

Jerry proposed to Laurie's mother, Linda, on their vacation to the Southwest. He popped the question at the Grand Canyon, and she accepted. They are planning a spring wedding.
